(Bloomberg) -- The Fearless Girl statue landed with a splash on Wall Street on March 7, 2017, the day before International Women's Day, as a kickoff for State Street Global Advisors' push to get more women on boards. Over the ensuing year, 152 companies added women directors and the investment-management firm gained almost $13 million in free publicity, according to Apex Marketing Group. New York City has not yet said whether the 50-inch-tall bronze sculpture can remain after this week.
