Coromandel Engineering Co Ltd.'s shares rose as much as 20 percent to hit upper circuit on Thursday, its biggest surge in nearly two years. The traded volumes stood at 25 times its previous 20-day average.
The construction company has a market capitalisation of Rs 180 crore.
Shares have gained 32 percent in the past month compared to a 0.3 percent decline in the benchmark BSE Sensex.
