Should you buy shares of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. and State Bank of India at the current market price? Is Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. and Vedanta Ltd. a good choice from a long-term perspective? Should you keep holding shares of Apollo Microsystem Ltd. and IndusInd Bank Ltd.? Is it the right time to exit RattanIndia Power Ltd.?

Lancelot DCunha, CIO, ValueX Wealth Connect LLP and Vikas Jain, head of research at Reliance Securities, answered these investor queries and more on NDTV Profit's Ask Profit show.

BPCL (CMP: Rs 251.70)

Jain: Hold.

  • Now the stock is almost near its 100-week average support area of 250-240 odd levels.

  • The dividend deal is also pretty good.

  • Continue to hold on the stock.

  • The stock is in the process of bottoming out formation near the 253-240 odd levels.

SBI (CMP: Rs 722)

Jain: Hold and Add.

  • Right now the stock is at good support level.

  • The PSU sector is witnessing some amount of positive pullback from the lower side.

  • Continue to hold on.

  • Add at current levels, for a higher upmove at 800-810 levels in the next 6 months.

Mahindra And Mahindra (CMP: Rs 2,667.80)

Jain: Hold.

  • Remain invested in the stock, especially for a short term outlook of 3-6 months.

  • The stock was a major performer in the Auto space.

  • The stock has seen a good amount of bookings last week, with its electric vehicle range.

  • We believe that the stock, would again recoup its losses.

Vedanta (CMP: Rs 438.20)

DCunha: Wait to add more.

  • The fundamental performance is going to get impacted over the long term due to the demerger news.

  • There is a longterm growth outlook.

  • Based on the current valuation, one should wait for sometime before adding more.

Apollo Microsystem (CMP: Rs 115.80)

Jain: Exit.

  • I would advice to exit the stock.

  • The valuations are at the higher side.

  • The stock has witnessed some amount of recoup losses from the lower part of the range.

  • Best time to exit, as the small caps would take some more time to move upwards.

IndusInd Bank (CMP: Rs 1,043.75)

Jain: Hold.

  • The stock looks attractive at the moment.

  • It has made a bullish engulfing pattern on the monthly chart in last month.

  • We believe that the stock would move higher. Once it breaks off about 1080 odd levels, a sharp momentum is expected nearing 1200 levels.

  • Continue to hold on till the target of 1200-1220 levels.

Poonawalla FinCorp (CMP: Rs 290.60)

DCunha: Hold.

  • The company is trying to make a mark in the financial services business.

  • The company is slightly highly valued.

  • Hold the stock for now.

  • If the stock corrects for the next 4-5%, one should be able to add it in their portfolio.

RattanIndia Power (CMP: Rs 9.85)

Jain: Exit.

  • I would advice to exit the stock.

  • The stock does not have any great momentum.

  • I believe that the stock would face some more pressure.

  • It is better to avoid or exit the stock.
