Eicher Motors July Wholesale Sales

  • Total sales rise 26% year-on-year to 55,555 units.

  • Sales of models with sub-350cc engine capacity rise 23% YoY to 46,336units.

  • Sales of models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc rises 42% YoY to 9,219 units.

Hero MotoCorp July Wholesale sales

India's automotive industry is expected to see higher sales in most segments in July, both over the year earlier and sequentially, as indicated by building up of inventory on anticipation of higher demand ahead of the festival season.

Factory-gate shipments of carmakers are expected to have risen month-on-month in July on a large order book and ramp-up in production, according to Emkay Global.

Two-wheeler sales volumes in July are expected to rise over the previous month, as demand improves gradually and the companies increase dispatches to build-up inventory ahead of the festival season. In the commercial vehicle segment, too, the analysts are seeing higher demand.
