Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, has surpassed Rs 1,000 crore globally in its first week of release. The film added Rs 47.7 crore to its tally on Wednesday, its seventh day in theatres. The collections came from over 20,000 shows nationwide.

Data from Sacnilk shows that the film's India net collection has climbed to Rs 623.42 crore, while the gross domestic figure stands at Rs 744.58 crore. Overseas markets have contributed Rs 261.92 crore, pushing the worldwide gross to Rs 1,006.5 crore.  The film now stands level with Pushpa 2 as the fastest Indian film to breach the Rs 1,000 crore mark.

Dhurandhar 2 is on the verge of overtaking Kalki 2898 AD, which closed its run at Rs 1,042 crore worldwide. The film should also cross the lifetime global earnings of Jawan, which amassed Rs 1,160 crore.

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Update

Dhurandhar 2 posted Rs 43 crore from its preview shows on March 18, setting the stage for a powerful opening. The film's first official day saw collections jump to Rs 102.55 crore.

However, Friday recorded a decline to Rs 80.72 crore ahead of a robust weekend performance. Box office figures peaked at Rs 113 crore on Saturday and Rs 114.85 crore on Sunday. The momentum softened in the following days, with Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday registering Rs 65 crore, Rs 56.60 crore, and Rs 47.70 crore, respectively.

In Dhurandhar 2, director Aditya Dhar continues the story of a high-risk intelligence operation. Ranveer Singh stars as Hamza, an Indian spy operating deep undercover within the Lyari underworld. While the first instalment traced his infiltration of Rehman Dakait's syndicate, the sequel focuses on his efforts to neutralise emerging threats and see the mission through.

The film's sustained box office performance has brought the Rs 1,000 crore domestic milestone firmly into sight. With a gross of Rs 744.58 crore after seven days, estimates suggest it could achieve the feat by the end of its second weekend.
