Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami announced on Thursday that Char Dham Yatra has been temporarily halted due to heavy rains.
"Considering the weather, the Char Dham yatra has been temporarily halted. In the future, we will proceed with the yatra in accordance with the weather. When the yatra is safe, it will continue," he told ANI.
"Our priority during the yatra is the safety of all pilgrims. All our district officials, disaster management teams, NDRF, and SDRF are fully prepared," he said.

"The changing circumstances demand credible and effective reforms in global governance. Progress cannot come without giving voice to the global south...We are proud that the African Union became a permanent member of the G20 during our presidency," Modi added.
