As a result, banks in Tripura, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Himachal Pradesh will not operate on April 15. Both public and private sector banks in these states will observe the holiday. Customers are advised to plan their financial transactions accordingly.

In addition to these regional holidays, the RBI mandates that all banks remain shut on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, as well as every Sunday.
