JD(U)'s Shyam Rajak received 126,194 votes from EVM and 276 postal votes, totalling 126,470 votes, securing 49.18% of the total votes in the November 2025 Bihar Assembly election for Constituency 188 - Phulwari.

In the November 2025 Bihar Assembly election for Constituency 188 - Phulwari, Shyam Rajak of Janata Dal (United) won the seat. He defeated Gopal Ravi Das of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) by a margin of 32,657 votes.

JD(U)'s Shyam Rajak is leading in Phulwarisharif (SC) constituency at 3:30 p.m with 76,036 votes, while CPI (M)(L)'s Gopal Ravi Das (64,710 votes) and Shashi Kant Prasad (7,563) from Jan Suraaj Party are trailing behind.
