Romania’s Leu Sinks as Protesters Decry Softer Graft Bill: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- Romania's leu sank the most in seven months against the euro on Wednesday, posting the biggest retreat in emerging markets, after thousands of protesters took to the streets to demand the government's ouster over a bill softening anti-corruption laws. If political risks remain high, UniCredit SpA says the currency may weaken further to 4.60 per euro, a decline of 1.3 percent from current levels.
