(Bloomberg) -- U.S. equities traded lower ahead of the open as investors continued to digest news about impending steel and aluminum tariffs. President Donald Trump took to Twitter Friday morning to justify his announcement from Thursday, which rattled markets. Just before 6 a.m. Friday he tweeted, “When a country (USA) is losing many billions of dollars on trade with virtually every country it does business with, trade wars are good, and easy to win.”
