Nigeria Oil Output Boosted as Rebels Cease Fire for Talks: Chart

None

(Bloomberg) -- A cease-fire in Nigeria, where militant attacks on oil infrastructure have cut the OPEC member's crude output, is helping boost production, according to Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, the nation's state minister for petroleum resources. The country pumped between 1.8 million and 1.9 million barrels a day within the last few days, he said Monday in Beijing. That compares with an average of 1.45 million barrels a day in May, according to a survey by Bloomberg.
