Reid Hoffman, co-founder of social network LinkedIn Corp., added almost $1 billion to his fortune Monday after the company's value soared on news that Microsoft Corp. will buy the business for $26.2 billion. His net worth has risen almost 60 percent since its low point of $2.4 billion on Feb. 9. Hoffman, whose investments include Zynga Inc. and Facebook Inc., has a net worth of $3.8 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
