(Bloomberg) -- Vietnam rejects China's ban on fishing beginning May 1 in waters that include parts of the Gulf of Tonkin and the Paracel Islands region, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vice Spokesperson Doan Khac Viet said during a Hanoi briefing.
Vietnam opposed China's seasonal fishing restrictions last year.
