Unitech Asked To Pay 14% Interest On Refund To Buyers In Gurgaon Project

The Supreme Court on Monday asked Unitech to pay a 14 per cent interest on Rs 17 crore that was refunded by the real estate developer to flat buyers in its Vistas project in Gurgaon. The interest will be calculated from January 1, 2010, the top court said. Unitech has been directed to deposit the amount within eight weeks in the Supreme Court registry.
