The Halol, Gujarat unit of Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd. can be cleared without any re-inspection as the observations received from the U.S. Food and Drug Administrator are minor, said Gurudatta GG, chief executive officer at consulting firm Estima Pharma Solutions.
If the plant is cleared, India's largest drugmaker will venture into manufacturing new products and also ease the production of older ones, Gurudatta told BloombergQuint in an interview.
