SpiceJet on Tuesday announced another sale, under which it's offering all-inclusive fares starting Rs 1,299. The carrier has introduced the sale to celebrate completion of 10 years of operation and also its return to profitability after six quarters.
"The 3 day offer celebrates a decade of flying, and also celebrates SpiceJet's return to profitability in the last quarter. The sale will begin on June 02 and go through midnight June 04, 2015, and is for travel period between June 20 and July 31, 2015," SpiceJet said.
Last week, SpiceJet had posted a Rs 22.51 crore net profit for the January-March period of FY15, helped by renegotiated contracts with its vendors and an insurance claim. This was the first time in seven quarters that the airline managed to swing in to the green. SpiceJet had last reported a net profit for the quarter ending June 2013.
The airline in May too had launched a "Happy Birthday to Us" flash sale offer to mark its 10 year of operations.
