Singham Returns continued its roar at the box office. Till Monday, Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham Returns had grossed Rs 92.47 crore, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
Singham Returns, which was released on Independence Day, had hit the Rs.50 crore-mark in just two days.
Singham Returns had opened to 4,020 screens worldwide, 3,610 in India and 410 overseas, added Mr Adarsh.
Singham Returns is directed by Rohit Shetty, who has delivered hits like Golmaal series, Singham, Bol Bachchan and Chennai Express.
Singham Returns has also got a strong reception at overseas box office. According to Eros, which distributed Singham Returns in the overseas markets, the action thriller grossed nearly Rs 15 crore in its first weekend.
Singham Returns is co-produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Rohit Shetty Productions and Reliance Entertainment.
Starring Ajay Devgn as a police inspector, the movie seems to be on its way to becoming a blockbuster just like its prequel Singham that was released in 2011. Singham had done business over Rs 100 crore.
Kick, the biggest grosser for far in 2014, had hit the Rs 100 crore on the fifth day of its release.
