Priti Adani's recognition comes in the wake of several initiatives spearheaded by the Adani Foundation.

Priti Adani, chairperson of the Adani Foundation, was the guest of honour at the 16th Ceremonial Convocation of Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research (deemed to be University), where she was conferred with an honoris causa degree.
An honoris causa — Latin for "for the sake of honour" — is an honorary degree awarded by a university to individuals, in recognition of their exceptional achievements and contributions, without the requirement of completing academic coursework.
The convocation's chief guest was Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, AVSM, VSM, Director General of the Armed Forces Medical Services.
Priti Adani's recognition comes in the wake of several initiatives spearheaded by the Adani Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Adani Group. Most recently, the foundation organised a three-day soap-making training program for women from 15 villages in Kawai, Rajasthan. The initiative covered skills in production, pricing, and marketing.
Earlier, the foundation also introduced the "Butterfly Effect" framework, a transformative approach to meet the evolving needs of women across different stages of life. The framework was shared during a national-level roundtable consultation, hosted by the foundation. It convened key stakeholders to discuss strategies for accelerating women's empowerment.
