(Bloomberg) -- Andrew Yang, a candidate for New York City mayor, said on Twitter that he was discharged from the hospital after suffering a kidney stone.
Yang thanked his “team at Mt Sinai West” for providing “excellent care” and said he will “proceed to drink lots of water for the rest of the day.”
Yang experienced abdominal pain Friday morning and visited a hospital emergency room, co-campaign manager Chris Coffey said in an earlier tweet.
While events for Friday are canceled, Yang “looks forward to getting back on the trail soon,” Coffey said in the earlier tweet.
