Now Future Group Goes The E-Commerce Way Through Paytm Tie-up
Shopping in Big Bazaar Will Soon Be Just a Click Away.

Retail company Future Group has tied up with mobile payments and e-commerce platform Paytm to enable Paytm users to shop for Big Bazaar merchandise on the online marketplace and get it delivered to their homes.
Through the collaboration, Paytm will make all Future Group merchandise available on its marketplace. This includes Big Bazaar, EasyDay, Brand Factory, fbb (Fashion at Big Bazaar), Ezone, Central and Foodhall.
The tie-up also extends to Patym’s wallet facility. This means that a customer can walk into a Big Bazaar outlet or any of the Future Group stores and make payments through a Paytm wallet. Further, customers of Big Bazaar can avail of promotional offers on all purchases, both online and offline, using the platform’s wallet facility.
Calling the tie-up “a win-win situation”, Kishore Biyani, the Chief Executive Officer of Future Group said the collaboration with a low-cost unit operator like Paytm would not only benefit consumers but also both companies.
Biyani reiterated that the company’s e-commerce strategy will keep evolving, and in the long run, it will look at the “unit economics game” more than focusing on the topline.
Big Bazaar merchandise will be available on Paytm only after its Independence Day sales, Paytm’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Vijay Shekhar Sharma told BloombergQuint. The launch of Paytm’s payments bank should happen by the end of this year, he added.
