NBCC Order Book Gains Rs 2,000 Crore In December With Eight Contract Wins
NBCC (India) has been awarded a Rs 200.60-crore project by Oil India Ltd. to construct a modern hospital in Duliajan, Assam.
NBCC (India) Ltd., a public sector giant in construction and project management, and its wholly-owned subsidiary, HSCC (India) Ltd., have bagged projects approximately worth Rs 2,033 crore in the final month of 2024, marking a solid rally of project wins from different corners of the country.
NBCC has been awarded a Rs 200.60-crore project by Oil India Ltd. to construct a hospital in Duliajan, Assam as per an exchange filing on Friday. The project will be executed on a turnkey basis under the Depository Works mode.
In another significant development, subsidiary HSCC has been awarded a Rs 98.17-crore project by the Medical Education Department, Maharashtra, to establish an e-library. The project will serve as a unified digital platform for students and faculty across 22 government medical colleges and three dental colleges in the state.
The client for the project is the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Mumbai.
NBCC (India) Recent Order Wins
The company also recently announced the receipt of multiple work orders totaling approximately Rs 489.6 crore.
The largest order involves the construction of Eklavya Model Residential Schools at various locations across Chhattisgarh. Valued at Rs 459.6 crore, this project is commissioned by the Department of Tribal and Scheduled Caste Welfare, Chhattisgarh. The schools will be built in several districts, including Bastar, Sukma, Dantewada, and Narayanpur, to cater to the educational needs of tribal students in the region.
Additionally, NBCC has secured a Rs 30 crore order for constructing a permanent building for the Composite Regional Centre in Jaipur. This project is commissioned by the Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities, New Delhi.

Shares of NBCC fell as much as 1.09% to Rs 96.04 apiece, the highest level since Nov. 27, 2024. It pared losses to trade 0.88% lower at Rs 96.25 apiece, as of 12:54 p.m. This compares to a 0.8% decline in the NSE Nifty 50.
The stock has risen 79.07% on a year-to-date basis. The relative strength index was at 42.33.
Out of four analysts tracking the company, two maintain a 'buy' rating, and two suggest 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average 12-month analysts' consensus price target implies an upside of 37.3%.
