Mumbai's CSMI Airport Sees Steady Growth In Passenger Traffic In April

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport saw 43.6 lakh passenger traffic in the month of April, a 9% year-on-year growth and 42% growth from April 2022.

CSMIA witnessed a total of 26,870 air traffic movements which includes 19,892 domestic and the rest international movements in April 2024.

Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad continued to remain the top 3 domestic destinations witnessing the highest passenger traffic from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport while, Dubai, Singapore, Abu Dhabi continued to be the preferred international destinations.

Cumulatively, domestic carriers secured the top position with the largest market share in the domestic as well as the international sectors
