(Bloomberg) -- London Metropolitan Police specialists are assessing a “suspicious vehicle” near West Croydon train station, according to a tweet on Tuesday.
Some buildings and shops are also being evacuated as a precaution, the Metropolitan Police said.
In a separate service update, National Rail said trains won't be able to stop at the station. The disruption is expected to affect rail operations until 6 p.m. U.K. time. Bus and train services have also been disrupted.
