(Bloomberg) -- Finding yourself contemplating a new iPhone? You're not alone. According to Google Trends, worldwide searches for Apple Inc.'s iPhone 7 ($549 base price) are now outpacing those for the new iPhone 8 ($699) and iPhone X ($999). Whether that means more sales for the older device is unclear; it may just indicate consumers are weighing their options before next week's launch of the flagship model. Customers can pre-order the iPhone X on Friday, which will ship by Nov. 3. The company reports fiscal fourth-quarter results the day before.
