The country’s domestic air traffic grew 23 percent between January to July this year, carrying 560.9 lakh passengers compared to corresponding period last year, according to the DGCA’s data. However, the domestic air traffic growth remained stagnant in July compared to the previous month as the tourist season came to an end.

New carrier Vistara was named the winner of the On-Time Performance (OTP) of scheduled domestic airlines for the second month in a row. This OTP was computed for four metro airports – Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
