India will be a big market for FIIs want and much bigger than what it has been so far, said Munjal Shah. The current growth momentum also throws up a lot of opportunities for the defence sector, Shah said on the sidelines of the BQ Prime Future Today Summit.
There is constant evolution of policy in the interest of making things happen, Shah, the managing director at Paras Defence and Space Technologies, said.
The sector is happy with the government's defence policies, he said.
Shah expects measures like more incentives for R&D and rebates to offer additional motivation to the defence sector.
In terms of sectors that enjoy good export potential, Shah mentioned IT, engineering goods manufacturing, auto and pharma.
