Hyundai To Hike Car Prices By Up To Rs 9,200 From August 1

Hyundai Motor India Pvt. Ltd on Tuesday said it will hike its car prices by up to Rs 9,200 from August 1 to offset increased input costs. The Hyundai price hike will be applicable across all its cars, including the newly launched Venue and the best-selling Creta.

Raw material costs have gone up due to new safety regulations and Bharat Stage VI emission norms, as warranted by the government, said Hyundai.

The South Korean carmaker's India product portfolio comprises 10 car models across segments, including Santro, Grand i10, Xcent, Verna, Creta and Tucson, among others.
