Hurun Global Rich List 2025: Meet The Top 10 Women Billionaires

The world’s 10 wealthiest women have a combined net worth of $479 billion, making up 20% of the total wealth held by women on the Hurun Global Rich List 2025.

The world’s 10 wealthiest women have a combined net worth of $479 billion, making up 20% of the total wealth held by women on the Hurun Global Rich List 2025. Walmart heiress topped the list with a fortune of $102 billion, while India's Roshni Nadar & family broke into the list with $40 billion. Among the 561 women featured on the list, 224 are self-made, according to the list released on Thursday.

China continues to dominate the rankings, contributing 72% of the world’s richest women. Diane Hendricks, the 77-year-old ‘Roofing Queen’ from ABC Supply, remains the world’s wealthiest self-made woman for the third consecutive year, with a net worth of $23 billion.

Overall, the Hurun Global Rich List 2025 features 3,442 billionaires from 71 countries, marking a 5% increase from last year’s 3,278. Their combined wealth surged by 13%, with 387 new entrants, including 96 from the United States, 91 from China, and 45 from India.

Meanwhile, 177 individuals lost their billionaire status, with nearly half from China.

Meet The Top 10 

Alice Walton is the richest woman on the planet, with $102 billion, up 46%, primarily derived from a surge in Walmart’s share price.

Next is Francoise Bettencourt Meyers of L'Oréal, with $67 billion, down 26%, as L'Oréal has struggled with competition and a slowing US market.

Julia Koch and her family of Koch Industries are worth $60 billion, up 11% from last year, driven by the company's strong financial position. Koch Industries' diversified operations, resilient cash flows, and strategic investments have contributed to this wealth increase.

Jacqueline Mars was fourth with $53 billion, up 33%, from pet food and chocolate giant Mars, driven by the strong growth of the pet food industry.

Roshni Nadar and her family broke into the Hurun Top 10 Women with $40 billion after her father, Shiv Nadar, transferred a 47% stake in India-based HCL.

MacKenzie Scott, Miriam Adelson, and their family ranked sixth on the list with $33 billion. Miriam Adelson is the widow of Sheldon Adelson, the former CEO and chairman of casino company Las Vegas Sands, who died at 87 in 2021.

Abigail Johnson was eighth with $32 billion, up 14%, as Fidelity took on an extra $400 billion of assets under management.

Marilyn Simons, 74, & family and Linda Stephens, 50, & family both made it straight into the Top 10 on the death of their husbands, James Simons of Renaissance Technologies and Autry Stephens of Endeavor Energy Resources.
