Gasoline in Chicago Costs Less Than Fistful of Bubble Gum

(Bloomberg) -- In Chicago, for 15 cents you can choose between three pieces of Bazooka bubble gum or a gallon of gasoline.

Regular gasoline in Chicago's wholesale market lost more than half its value Monday, falling to just 15.18 cents a gallon. By comparison, Bazooka gum in a tub is currently selling for a price of 5.8 cents per piece at Amazon.com.

Of course, there's a catch -- to buy the gasoline that cheap, you need a tank able to hold 420,000 gallons of it, the size of a typical trade.
