New Delhi: Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals on Friday reported a nearly two-fold jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 46.93 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015.
The drug firm had posted a net profit of Rs 24.03 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Consolidated total income of the company stood at Rs 388.73 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 389.68 in the year-ago period.
Shares in Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals, on Friday, ended 7.92 per cent higher at Rs 347.65 apiece on the BSE, whose benchmark Sensex index finished up 1.14 per cent.
