CDSL Q4 Results: Net Profit Dips 22.4% To Rs 100 Crore, Revenue Dips 4.3%
CDSL has recommended a final dividend for FY25 of Rs 12.5 per equity share.

Revenue of Central Depository Services (India) dipped by 4.3% to Rs 256 crore on a year-on-year (YoY) basis in the quarter ended March 31, 2025, according to an exchange filing on Saturday.
Net profit for the fourth quarter stood at Rs 100 crore, a dip of 22.4% from Rs 129 crore recorded in Q4FY24.
On an operational basis, earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation declined 27% to Rs 107.35 crore versus Rs 148.02 crore while the margin fell to 47.8% from 61.4% earlier.
The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend for FY25 of Rs 12.5 per equity share of face value of Rs 10, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company.
For FY25, CDSL reported a 32% growth in revenue at Rs 1,199 crore, compared to Rs 907 crore in FY24.
The bottom line surged 25% to Rs 526 crore from Rs 420 crore.
The company became the first depository to register nearly 15.3 crore demat accounts last fiscal. Nearly 3.73 crore new demat accounts were opened in FY25.
Retail investors own 53.86% equity in CDSL, while mutual funds hold another 7.18% as of March.
Shares of CDSL ended 0.36% higher at Rs 1,324.7 apiece on Friday on the NSE, compared to a 0.05% gain in the benchmark Nifty 50. The stock has risen 23% in the last 12 months but fallen 27% since the start of the year.
