Auto components major Bosch Ltd. on Friday said its board has appointed Bernhard Straub as Chairman with effect from Aug. 24.
Considering the recommendations of the nomination and remuneration committee, the board has approved the appointment of Straub, currently non-executive, non-independent director, as an additional director designated as a Chairman of the board, Bosch Ltd. said in a regulatory filing.
The board, in its meeting held on Friday, has also accepted the resignation of VK Viswanathan as Chairman and Director of the company with effect from Aug. 23, as a part of succession planning, it added.
