Bank of India Q3 Updates: Domestic Advances Up 15% To Rs 5.46 Lakh Crore

Bank of India's total domestic deposits grew 13% year-on-year to Rs 6.79 lakh crore in the third quarter of the current financial year from Rs 6 lakh crore in the year-ago period, the lender said in its provisional quarterly business updates on Friday.
The public sector bank's domestic advances rose 15% to Rs 5.46 lakh crore in the December quarter from Rs 4.75 lakh crore in the same period in the last fiscal, according to an exchange filing.
BOI's global business grew 14% to Rs 14.5 lakh crore, including a 15% rise in the global gross advances to Rs 6.52 lakh crore. The total global deposits grew 12% to Rs 7.95 lakh crore, it said.
In November, BOI had raised Rs 5,000 crore through the issue of 10-year infrastructure bond at a coupon of 7.41%. The issue, which had a base size of Rs 2,000 crore and a greenshoe option of Rs 3,000 crore, was fully subscribed.
In July, the bank had raised Rs 5,000 crore through the 10-year infra bonds at a coupon of 7.54%, which was also fully subscribed.
Shares of BOI closed 0.96% higher at Rs 104.89 apiece on the BSE before the announcement, compared to a 0.90% decline in the benchmark Sensex.
