Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has been ranked fourth in Forbes magazine's global list of highest-paid actors, with earnings totaling $65 million in the year to June 1, 2019.
Only Dwayne Johnson ($89.4 million), Chris Hemsworth ($76.4 million) and Robert Downey Jr ($66 million) earned more than him between June 1, 2018, and June 1, 2019, according to Forbes. His earnings were more than that of Bradley Copper ($57 million), Chris Evans ($43.5 million) and Will Smith ($35 million).
According to Forbes, Akshay Kumar pulls in "at least $5 million and up to $10 million per film". “He also mints millions for endorsement deals with over 20 brands", the report said.
Akshay Kumar's latest release ‘Mission Mangal', which tells the story of Indian Space Research Organisation's Mars Orbiter Mission in 2013-14, has collected more than Rs 100 crore since it hit screens on Aug. 15.
