Rajnikant Ajmera was appointed as chairperson and managing director of Ajmera Realty and Infra India Ltd. at 70 years of age, after having completed five years in the same position, according to an exchange filing on BSE.
This was according to a decision taken by the board of directors of the company in a meeting held on Tuesday, July 7, 2024.
Ajmera will serve in the position from Aug. 1, 2024, to July 31, 2029.
The company also appointed Shweta Jhawar in the position of company secretary and compliance officer, who will formally assume the position on July 13 of this year.
This comes after the resignation of Chandra Prakash Jugani from the position. His resignation will take effect with the closure of the working hours on July 12.
The company's sales surged 36% year-on-year to Rs 306 crore in the quarter ended June 30. This was due to their project, Ajmera Vihara at Bhandup, having sold 27% of inventory upon launch.
