Adani Group To Invest Rs 2.3 lakh crore In Odisha On Power, Cement, Aluminium, And More
The Adani Group's proposed investment is reported to be the largest commitment made by any business group at the Utkarsh Odisha 2025 summit.

Adani Group will be investing Rs 2.3 lakh crore in Odisha across five years in sectors such as power, cement, aluminium, city gas, and industrial parks.
Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd, met with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to exchange memorandums of understanding for investments in the state.
The ‘Utkarsh Odisha - Make in Odisha Conclave 2025,’ a global investment summit, was inaugurated on Tuesday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This event aims to position Odisha as a key player in the Purvodaya vision and establish the state as an investment destination and industrial hub in India.
The Adani Group's proposed investment is reported to be the largest commitment made by any business group at the Utkarsh Odisha 2025 summit. On the same day, the first test flight successfully landed at the Dhamra Airstrip, a significant milestone for the region’s infrastructure development, according to a report by news agency ANI.
Additionally, six key projects by Adani Total Gas were commissioned during the event. These include the launch of an EV charging station at Bhubaneswar airport, the completion of the City Gate Station-cum-Mother Station project along with gas integration from the GAIL Tap-off point, and the groundbreaking for an LNG-cum-multi-fuel hub in Bhadrak, ANI reported.
A CNG station at JIO BP RO in Balasore has also been completed and will soon be operational after PESO approval. In Bhadrak, the first domestic PNG connection has been activated with gas charging and burner installation. Furthermore, a CNG station project in Rairangpur, the first in Mayurbhanj district, has been completed and will be open to the public soon.
