Tesla Inc. on Monday said it will be opening its experience centre in New Delhi on Aug. 11, according to news agency Bloomberg.

This comes after the Elon Musk-led electric vehicle giant unveiled its first experience centre at Mumbai's BKC.

Elon Musk's Tesla finally made its debut in India in July, opening its first showroom in Mumbai. The 4,000-square-foot space is located in Mumbai's upscale financial district of Bandra Kurla Complex, inside the Maker Maxity Mall.

The company had said Mumbai and Delhi will each get four charging stations soon. Mumbai to get 16 superchargers spread across Thane, BKC, Lower Parel and Navi Mumbai. Meanwhile, Delhi to get 16 superchargers spread across Aerocity, Saket, Golf Course Road and Noida.

The car maker has already launched its first charging station in Mumbai on Monday.

The company said it plans to set up three more such facilities, one each at Lower Parel, Thane and Navi Mumbai by the September quarter.
