Hero MotoCorp Halts Production For Three Days At Four Plants
Hero MotoCorp has halted production at its plants in Dharuhera, Gurugram, Haridwar and Neemrana to “navigate a short-term supply agreement”.

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. has halted production at four of its plants for three days as India’s largest two-wheeler maker looks to tide over a supply-chain issue.
“Production has been temporarily paused from 17-19 April at four of our manufacturing plants — Dharuhera, Gurugram, Haridwar and Neemrana — as we navigate a short-term supply alignment,” the company said in an exchange filing on April 16. The company’s facilities in Tirupati and Halol are still operational.
The Splendor maker will use the break to carry out maintenance and general upkeep of its facilities in the north. Production will resume on April 21.
“This pause will not impact our ability to meet retail demand in domestic and international markets. Any production deferment will be efficiently recovered in the following month,” the exchange filing stated.
