Angel One Gets 'Buy' From JM Financial As Brokerage Bullish On Expansion To Wealth Management, Insurance
JM Financial has initiated coverage on Angel One with a 'Buy' rating. The brokerage expects the company to have earnings per share of Rs 141 in the financial year 2027, hence a target price of Rs 2,700 has been set with an expected price-to-earnings ratio of 19 times the FY27 EPS.
"The company is amongst the largest retail brokers in India, with over 32 million clients, of which over 9 million are NSE active," the brokerage noted.

At pre-open, the NSE Nifty 50 was trading 0.25% higher at 24,802.60 and BSE Sensex was trading 0.23% higher at 0.23% higher at 80,900.

Nomura initiated coverage on Swiggy Ltd. and hiked its target price for Zomato's parent Eternal Ltd. The brokerage sees the food delivery business as the real cash generator for the companies because of duopoly.
Nomura has rated Swiggy a 'buy' and has a target of Rs 550, which implies a 25% upside from Friday's close. The brokerage has a 'buy' rating on Eternal as well and raised the target price to Rs 370 apiece from Rs 300. The current target price implies a 9.1% upside from Friday's closing price.

The GIFT Nifty was trading 0.37% or 91.50 points higher at 24,393 as of 6:30 a.m., which implied a positive open for the NSE Nifty 50 index compared to previous close.
Traders will keep an eye on Welspun Living Corp Ltd., Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Ltd., TVS Motor Co. during Monday's session.
The benchmark equity indices ended flat on Friday after a see-saw trade as the markets had a mixed reaction to the overhaul in the goods and services tax.
The NSE Nifty 50 settled 6.7 points or 0.03% higher at 24,741 and the BSE Sensex closed 7.25 points or 0.01% lower at 80,710.76 on Friday.
