US Vice President JD Vance has claimed that the late Charlie Kirk could have been the US President one day. "Charlie Kirk could have been President," Vance said, "He was gunned down by an assassin's bullet, and we will not rest until those responsible for this culture of hatred are held accountable," Mint reported, citing 'The Charlie Kirk Show' which Vance hosted.
The Republican vice-president filled in as host from his ceremonial office in the Eisenhower executive office building next to the White House, AP reported.

Shortly after his shooting a graphic video started circulating on social media that captured the moment Charlie Kirk was shot at the event which he was hosting at Utah Valley University.
On Sept. 13, Erika Kirk, wife of the conservative activist, spoke publicly for the first time since his assassination, addressing her supporters. Kirk's wife declared that they “have no idea what they have unleashed across this country.” She affirmed that her husband's voice will remain “louder and more clearly than ever.”
Erika also spoke directly to the President and Vice President, stating, "My husband loved you, and he knew you loved him too. Your friendship was amazing." She praised law enforcement for their tireless efforts in capturing the suspect in her husband's killing.
Currently, the FBI is investigating leftist groups in Utah to determine whether they had any link to the killing of the Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder, Fox News Digital reported, quoting a source familiar with the inquiry. The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.
A law enforcement source earlier told Fox News Digital that Robinson's father turned him in after recognising his son in surveillance footage released by the FBI.
