Samsung has launched the enterprise edition of its flagship range of mobile devices, the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24. The enterprise range comes close on the heels of the launch of the enterprise exclusive Samsung XCover7 smartphone.

The enterprise edition devices have been launched to make it easier to configure, update, deploy, and run mobile technology for organisations and enable secure connection between teams.

The phones come with Galaxy AI features like Live Translate, Interpreter, Note Assist and Circle to Search with Google, along with defence-grade security, extended product lifecycle and long-term support, according to Samsung.

Features like Live Translate and Interpreter allow real-time voice and text translations. Chat Assist improves conversational tones, while Note Assist generates summaries and templates in Samsung Notes. Transcript Assist utilises AI and speech-to-text technology for transcription and translation of voice recordings.

The enterprise edition Galaxy S24 Ultra features a 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage capacity, while the Galaxy S24 offers an 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage option.

Both smartphones come with a 12-month free subscription to the Knox Suite, enabling defence-grade security, enterprise mobility management enrolment, and device/OS management. After a year, the subscription charges are applicable depending upon the plan. They also offer data-driven device usage/security insights and capabilities for frontline workers.

The devices also offer up to seven years of continuous firmware updates for the most recent Android and Samsung security patches. They start receiving Samsung’s Security Maintenance Release FOTA updates on the same day the monthly Android Security Bulletin is released.

Samsung offers a comprehensive three-year warranty on the devices throughout India. Since the three-year warranty will be globally effective from April 2024 for enterprise edition devices launched in 2024, it will be applicable only on S24 (Onyx Black, 8GB/256GB) and S24 Ultra (Titanium Black, 12GB/256GB). Battery standard warranty is 12 months, and for accessories it is 6 months.

Prices start at Rs 78,999 for enterprise edition Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
