Samsung has started rolling out its new One UI 7 update in India. This version of the software is based on Android 15 and is currently available on some of Samsung’s latest and most premium smartphones.

Which Samsung Phones Are Getting One UI 7 Update First?

As the update is rolling out right now, it reaches users with Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. These are the first devices in India to receive the update, after it has already been released in South Korea. It is also available to some users in the Middle East, Turkey, and the UAE.

If your phone isn’t on the list, don’t worry. In the coming weeks, Samsung plans to widen its rollout. The high-end and some of the mid-range models will follow. Budget models that are eligible will receive the update in the next few months, depending on the region and device variant.

What’s New In One UI 7?

This update is more than just a new version number. The One UI 7 comes with a fresh look with redesigned notifications, a customizable Quick Panel that also features a volume slider. Along with this, Stock apps have also received a makeover, and the camera app now works better with one hand.

Samsung has also added new stylish fidgets for both the homescreen and lock screen. With this new update, the animation feels smoother, and you get a new playful charging animation too. Your phone will work longer with new features to protect its battery that too with a new battery icon.

Another big highlight is the “Now Bar”. This feature keeps you updated with live information like music, timers, Sports scores, navigation and even your workout data on your lock screen. It adds convenience without even needing to unlock your phone.

The update also includes the April 2025 security patch for improved privacy and protection.
