Poco F7 Ultra, F7 Pro Launch Date Revealed; Camera, Price to Chip, All You Wanted To Know
The Poco F7 Ultra, F7 Pro teaser images have confirmed certain rumoured specifications of the new smartphones, including the presence of a round camera setup.
Poco has announced the launch date of its latest flagship models, Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro. The Xiaomi-owned company said that the phones will be rolled out on Mar. 27. The global launch event will be held at 16:00 GMT+8, introducing the first "Ultra" phone in the Poco family. In the teaser image, we get a glimpse of two phones in black and yellow colour. It gives a sneak peek into what to expect from the models.
The teaser images have also confirmed certain rumoured specifications of the new Poco smartphones, including the round camera setup. It is being said that the series is inspired by Redmi K80 lineup models.
Earlier, tipster Paras Guglani shared on X (formerly Twitter) that the two models will likely have a similar design. And in the teaser images, Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra look identical.
The models will have a flat screen with a horizontal LED flash. It is being said that the models will come in separated colour variants, with Pro likely to offer light blue and silver options.
Additionally, the power button and the volume rocker will be on the right frame, the teaser images confirm. Some reports suggested that since the models mirror K80 series by Redmi, they are likely to have 6.67-inch OLED 1.5K 144Hz screen. As for processor performance, Poco might offer the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in Ultra variant, while the F7 Pro will pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Both models will boast differing battery capacities, with Ultra possessing a 5,300mAh battery, while the F7 Pro with 6,000mAh battery.
Both will run on HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15 and support fast charging options. The Ultra version will be able to charge super-quick, supporting a 120W wired. Similarly, the F7 Pro can also charge quickly with 90W wired support.
Continuing its tradition of offering enhanced camera setup, Poco plans to launch the models with a front-facing camera (for selfies or video calls) with 20-megapixel resolution. The main camera on the back has 50 megapixels.
Not much is known about the expected price range but some reports indicated that the Poco F7 Pro model may cost €535 in the European market for the basic variant.
