Motorola Edge 60 India Launch On June 10: Colour Options, Storage Variants And Other Key Specifications

Motorola is gearing up for the launch of its all-new Motorola Edge 60 smartphone in India on Tuesday, June 10. The company has confirmed the RAM, storage option, camera and other details regarding the Indian variant of the handset.

The Edge series smartphone saw its launch in select global markets alongside the Motorola Edge 60 Pro in April.

Motorola Edge 60 India Launch: Key Specifications

The latest device from Motorola will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, an improvement from its global variant that came out with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC.

Having a triple rear camera setup led by the 50-megapixel primary sensor, the smartphone will be made available in Pantone Gibraltar Sea and Pantone Shamrock colour options in India. It is confirmed for launch on June 10.

Being offered in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option, the handset will be sold via Flipkart.

Along with Pantone Gibraltar Sea and Pantone Shamrock, the global variant was also offered in the Pantone Plum Perfect shade.

The Motorola Edge 60 boasts a 6.67-inch 1.5K (1,220 x 2,712 pixels) pOLED screen that offers up to 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i coating.

Camera And Battery 

On the back, the smartphone has a triple rear camera unit. This comprises a 50-megapixel primary camera that comes with a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, as well as a 10-megapixel telephoto camera that offers up to 3x optical zoom. On the front, the handset offers a 50-megapixel selfie camera. 

Also, there is support for stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The company states that the smartphones meet IP68 + IP69 certifications.

In India, the Motorola Edge 60 smartphone is coming with a 5,500mAh battery that offers support for 68W TurboPower charging. This is a slight improvement from the 5,200mAh battery available with the same charging support in the global variant.

Out of the box, it runs on Hello UI based on Android 15.

Price

As of now, no official details have been confirmed regarding the price of the Motorola Edge 60 in India. In Europe, it was introduced with a price tag of GBP 379 (around Rs 43,000).
