ASUS Unveils ExpertBook P Series In India — Price, Specifications And Launch Date
The ExpertBook P Series laptops are aimed at attracting businesses and professionals, says Asus.
Taiwan-based PC manufacturer ASUS has launched its AI-powered ExpertBook P Series in India, targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and professionals.
Taiwan-based PC player is leveraging local customer feedback to develop innovations that also cater to global consumers, a senior official said on Tuesday. Dinesh Sharma, vice president of the commercial PC and smartphone system business group at Asus India, said that innovations developed in India also have global appeal.
Sharma expressed confidence that Asus’ strategy of tailored offerings will also help boost its presence in the Indian market.
“Though we are a Taiwanese company, we are very much focused on make-for-India. And there are multiple solutions that we've actually created thanks to our Indian customers' requests. Now these have become global solutions,” he said, emphasising a strong focus on this strategy. Sharma was speaking on the sidelines of the launch of Asus' ExpertBook P Series laptops.
The top executive also revealed that Asus has been heavily investing in manpower in India. It is part of the company’s broader goal of increasing its market share.
“For the commercial PC business, we want to be the leading brand in the commercial PC market in India” Sharma said, adding that Asus is targeting “every single product category” in commercial or enterprise business.
On the company's performance, he remarked that the commercial PC business is robust with a double-digit growth rate.
ExpertBook P Series: Specs, Price And More
Asus’ newly launched ExpertBook P Series laptops are aimed at attracting businesses and professionals. Powered by artificial intelligence, the series offers three models: ExpertBook P1, P3, and P5. These come with enterprise-grade security and enhanced durability, fit for a “worry free” business experience.
The new product uses AI features for enhanced camera performance, meeting efficiency, improved battery life, advanced cooling system, among others impressive features.
The new series will be available on Flipkart from April 21, with the base variant priced at Rs 39,990.
At present, Asus has a 7% market share in the Indian PC landscape and was among top five sellers in 2024, a report by market research firm IDC revealed.
Notably, in the December quarter of financial year 2025, Asus logged 38.4% growth rate, the best among its peers.
