Following a month of action-packed cricket, the third edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL) is inching closer to the finale. Three of the five teams have already sealed their berths in the knockout stage. Delhi Capitals (DC) have earned direct entry into the final by finishing at the top of the table. Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants will battle it out in the Eliminator, and the winners will challenge DC for the crown.

While it is the second playoff appearance for DC and MI, GG have achieved the feat for the first time in three years. They had finished at the bottom of the standings in the previous two WPL editions.

Both DC and MI ended the league stage with 10 points from eight matches. DC, however, clinched the top spot, thanks to their superior net run rate (NRR). GG, on the other hand, registered four wins to finish with eight points.
