Vahan daily registrations during December (month-to-date) are at 85,800 units i.e. marginally above pre-Covid-19 levels on the back of lagged recognition of festive sales. We expect retails to continue to be healthy till mid December.
E-Way bill generation for December (till Dec. 6) began on a strong note reaching 1.2 crore.
If we compare this to the average bill generation in the months prior to Covid-19 (October 2019-February 2020), it has reached approximately 106% of the average 5.5 crore bills.
