With the earnings season reaching its full momentum, as many as 97 companies will declare their financial results for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Tata Motors reported a 3.5% year-on-year decline in revenue to Rs 1.01 lakh crore. Net profit fell by 10% YoY to Rs 3,450 crore for the quarter.

• Ebitda declined 14.2% to Rs 11,736 crore 

• Margin narrowed 140 basis points to 11.6% 

Maruti Suzuki India reported a 17.4% year-on-year decline in net profit for Q2 FY25 to Rs 3,069 crore, missing the estimate of Rs 3,710 crore. The company’s revenue increased by 0.4% year-on-year, reaching Rs 37,203 crore.

• Net profit down 17.4% at Rs 3,069 crore 

• Revenue up 0.4% at Rs 37,203 crore

• Ebitda down 7.7% at Rs 4,417 crore 

• Ebitda margin down 100 basis points at 11.9%

Hyundai Motor India: Hyundai India saw its revenue and profit eroding in Q3. The topline fell 2.1% year-on-year to 16,242 crore. The auto maker’s net profit plunged 19% to Rs 1,124 crore.

Suzlon Energy: Suzlon Energy reported a strong performance for Q3 FY25, with revenue surging 91% YoY to Rs 2,968.8 crore. Net profit also saw a significant jump, increasing 90% to Rs 386.5 crore, compared to Rs 203.2 crore last year.
