PI Industries Q4 Results: Profit Falls 11%; Dividend Of Rs 10 Apiece

PI Industries Ltd.'s consolidated net profit slipped 11% in the quarter ended March, according to an exchange filing on Monday.

The company posted a profit of Rs 330.5 crore in the fourth quarter as compared to Rs 370 crore in the year-ago period, it said.

The agrochemical firm recommended a final dividend of Rs 10 per share at a face value of Re 1 each for the financial year 2024–25.

The proposed dividend is subject to the approval from the shareholders at the company's annual general meeting. The dividend will be credited to the eligible shareholders within 30 days from its declaration if it gets approved in the AGM.

Shares of PI Industries closed 0.28% lower at Rs 3,759 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, compared to a 0.3% fall in the benchmark Nifty. The stock has risen 4.86% in the last 12 months and 1.99% on a year-to-date basis.

Out of 28 analysts tracking the company, 15 have a 'buy' rating on the stock, eight suggest 'hold' and five recommend 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price target implies a potential upside of 7.3%.
