Nippon Life India Asset Management Q4 Results: Profit Down 13%
The company announced a dividend distribution of Rs 18 per share for the financial year 2025.

Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd. on Monday saw a 13% decrease in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 298.6 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025.
The firm posted a profit after tax of Rs 343 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. Their operational revenue climbed by 21% to Rs 566.5 crore during the quarter under consideration, compared to Rs 468.3 crore in the January-March timeframe of the financial year 2023-24.
The company announced a dividend distribution of Rs 18 per share for the financial year 2025, with a proposed final dividend of Rs 10 per share included in this amount. Nippon Life India Asset Management acts as the asset manager for Nippon India Mutual Fund.
The total assets managed by NAM India reached Rs 6.54 lakh crore in March 2025, encompassing Nippon India Mutual Fund's asset base of Rs 5.57 lakh crore.
Throughout the financial year 2024-25, NAM India recorded a profit after tax of Rs 1,286.4 crore, marking a 16% growth from the preceding fiscal year. The company's operational revenue also saw a substantial increase of 36% year-on-year, amounting to Rs 2,231 crore.
The firm also brought its website and application fully online on April 21 after they suffered a cyberattack on April 9. The attack had caused a partial closure of their platform. However, the company said that the attack had no major impact on their company's operations.
Shares of Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd. It closed 0.71% lower at Rs per share, compared to a 1.2% uptick in the benchmark Nifty. The share price has risen 8.28 % in the last 12 months and falling 12.57% for year-to-date. Nineteen out of the 23 analysts tracking the company have a 'buy' rating on the stock and three suggest a 'hold,' while one recommend a 'sell' rating on the stock according to Bloomberg. The stock's return potential was at 10.0%.
